A series of twenty-four, 2.5 by 3.5 paintings of the Appalachian mountains, valleys, and communities. They show the beauty in an often overlooked part of the United States.

In each of the four rows, the skylines of the paintings align to create a subtle unifying horizon line. Even though the pieces are all from different places, they come together to create Kentucky.
